The first specialty coffee shop in Cádiz capital was looking for a visual identity that aligned with its goals and communicated more effectively its main differentiator: we are a coffee shop that serves exceptional coffee without losing sight of our essence.

What I did on this project

I developed a brand identity and narrative that set the tone for the project’s communication and essence: a neighborhood coffee shop serving such outstanding coffee that every sip becomes an accessible gastronomic experience.

I created a visual system designed to immediately communicate what you’ll truly find here: coffee, but great coffee. Contemporary, carefully crafted, and ready to become your new favorite spot, while introducing you to the world of specialty coffee in an approachable and friendly way.

Design

To strengthen brand communication, I designed a set of characters that enhance storytelling and positioning across both physical and digital applications, making the brand more recognizable, versatile, and engaging.

Sensa Café positions itself as a neighborhood coffee shop (familiar, warm, and approachable) while elevating the experience through high-quality specialty coffee. This balance removes the intimidation factor often associated with specialty cafés and makes excellence feel accessible.

It communicates clearly and instantly.

The visual identity leaves no room for confusion: this is about coffee, and pretty good coffee. The contemporary yet friendly design system signals quality without pretension, attracting both curious newcomers and experienced coffee drinkers.

It aligns narrative with experience.

The brand story, visual language, and in-store experience work cohesively. Every touchpoint reinforces the same idea: exceptional coffee can be part of your everyday life. Through its tone of voice and character design, the brand introduces customers to the world of specialty coffee in an inviting way.
